We are officially starting the PLANNING Stages of our 15-Year Class Reunion and need your input!!!
So far our rough idea is the following event layout, but PLEASE weigh in if you have something that you feel would be better, so that we can take a vote on it.
PROPOSED Venue: Pyramids – Johnstown, PA
PROPOSED Date: Thanksgiving Week 2019 (exact date TBA)
PROPOSED Food: Buffet style setup with Meat and Veggies / some kind of light dessert. (same as 10 Year Reunion in 2014)
PROPOSED Drinks: Cash Bar to bring down the cost of the Meal Tickets.
The Pyramids was pitched for the 5 Year Reunion which never happened, so we wanted to put it back on the table for the 15 Year Reunion. We can obviously have the event anywhere in Johnstown that has reasonable pricing and enough room – but our thought here is to have it somewhere in the actual school district this time.
In 2014 we hosted the Reunion at “This Is It!” in November over the Thanksgiving Break as people were in from out of town and that timeframe worked out well. Everyone had a great time and we want to see more faces from our class this time around (as well as their spouses). Our Senior Class has made its mark all over the Country by this point and getting together once every five years outside of Social Media is a great thing. Our goal this time around is to bring the ticket prices down as much as possible and have a Cash Bar to simplify things as that was a point of contention for some folks last time in 2014.
Please let us know your thoughts as nothing is set in stone just yet, but we are getting rolling now to make sure this event happens. We would like to have the Venue and Meal Information Finalized by April 1st at the absolute latest, so please give us your input!!!
